For the holiday season, K & K Glass teamed up with the Marines Toys for Tots program to collect thousands of toys for children in East Pasco County. Thank you to our Sales Associates, Christine Gerstmeier and Berta Hursey, who worked so hard to make this project happen!

K & K Glass volunteered three vehicles and four team members to pick up and deliver 1,800 Hess trucks that were donated by the Hess Corporation and provided to children in Zephyrhills and Land O’ Lakes.

“It was such a blessing to have worked with Toys for Tots and all the individuals who supported this cause,’’ said Michelle Knowlton, Human Resources Director. Thank you to all those with big hearts out there who gave so much.’’

Bob Loring, the “head elf” for Toys for Tots in East Pasco, estimated that between 20,000 and 25,000 toys were collected this year and more than 3,130 children were served.

“We at K&K Glass were so pleased to help the children this year and look forward to doing so in the years to come,’’ said Knolwton. “To work with the parents of these children and to see how excited they were brought so much joy to all of us.’’
